SUFFOLK POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE LOCATING MISSING ADULT FEMALE

SUFFOLK, VA (February 7, 2022) - The Suffolk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult female. Tamika Michelle Davis, age 26 of Suffolk, Virginia, was last seen on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. She was last observed in Suffolk heading to an unknown location.

Davis is described as a Black female, 5 foot 5 inches tall, weighing about 169 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is known to drive a white Crown Victoria. Family members note that it is out of character for her to not check in with them.

Just to clarify, is the the person listed in the police report for assault and battery on Feb 4 the same person listed as missing and last seen on Feb 2? The names are the same but the ages are two years apart.

Checking the VA Court System I can find 3 traffic violations. One in 2015 and two in 2021. In Suffolk District Ct. there is a misdemeanor charge of 'Reckless - General' with an offense date of 7 Jan 2019. There are other offenses statewide for "Tamika Davis", but the month and day of birth does not match. No record of an 'assault and battery - family member' and no offenses under her name for March 2020.
