Virginia 'missionary' sued for pretending to be doctor | KECI

" BEDFORD, Va. (WSET) - A woman who runs a ministry in Uganda is being sued for allegedly operating an illegal medical facility in the country.
.... Now, a
lawsuit is alleging the mothers of two children served by her ministry led to their children's deaths and the deaths of hundreds of children in Uganda...."

Renee Bach: US missionary accused of letting 100 Ugandan babies die

"...She is accused of leading parents of children in her care to believe she was a doctor despite having no medical training.
Ms Bach allegedly took children suffering from malnutrition from local hospitals and “treated” them at her facility...."

White Woman Allegedly Pretended To Be A Doctor & 100 Babies Died | News One

"...An article in September of 2018 from Medium describes a horrific Bach who learned medical procedures from watching YouTube. ..."

Emphasis Mine

If there's another thread for this case, maybe this can be merged ? Tia.

Unbelievable ignorance and cruelty towards the Ugandans.

One could understand a single death -- from a child already suffering from malnutrition -- but hundreds of deaths on Renee Bach's watch ?
Something is very wrong here.

Most of the additional links carry the same story. Horrifying.

Whatever is wrong with letting the Ugandans care for their own without outside help ? A preferable solution to this travesty.

There is an echo of Jennifer and Sarah Hart in her expression. These mothers of the babies killed did not need Renee Bach's interference.

It's as if Genene Jones showed up to Uganda. The photo of Ms. Bach in the nursery is unsettling.
Did Renee Bach see herself as the higher power over life and death ? Despicable.
This was not her choice to make.

I am so sorry for the mothers of those children !

Attached is the lawsuit document against Renee Bach.

Justice needs to be served for the innocent victims of this woman. She seems to be mentally unbalanced , and maybe worse.

You do not have to have a doctor's credentials to 'fatten up' babies or children. (Which is what she was claiming to do.)

But you cannot and should not be performing medical procedures on anyone.
She had no right... and now infants and children are dead.

American missionary is sued by African moms claiming she caused their babies' deaths | Daily Mail Online

"... Others have alleged malpractice in blog posts about the Virginian, claiming she sent children home after 'fattening them up' without ensuring it was safe for them. ..."

"...One of the group's members called it 'unacceptable, narcissistic behavior.' ..."

Her "organization" is now in major CYA mode :

ServingHisChildren – Restore, Empower, Sustain
Neither a photo nor a mention of the founder, Ms. Bach.
Still asking for money, though.

NBS Television on Twitter: "Our team determined through documents from the US government where it is registered, that it had raised over $167,000 [Nearly 650 million shillings] in donations to help end malnutrition in Eastern Uganda. #NBSInvestigates #NBSUpdates… https://t.co/jvPhNlspBZ"

That aid, included donations that were sent to Serving His Children, an NGO founded, operated and run by American Renee Bach.

If they felt Ms. Bach was innocent, they wouldn't have deleted her name/photo from their website.

So they knew something was wrong.
Imo.

It's that narcissistic White Saviour mentality.

This medically untrained woman was doing technical medical procedures on these children. She was watching youtube videos to prepare

I read an account of her ordering a blood transfusion for a small child, arranging for a donor and actually doing this herself. This is an very complex procedure that should only be done by MD's and RN's. She's so arrogant to even consider doing this by herself.

There is SO MUCH WRONG with this I can't even begin to start.

But yes, if this is true, she should be prosecuted for some form of homicide.
