Police need help finding hit-and-run victim’s family

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — Police are trying to locate the family of a Richmond man who was fatally struck by a car over a week ago.

Late Friday, Richmond police announced they needed help finding 53-year-old William R. Teets’ next of kin.

Police release picture of pedestrian struck on Chamberlayne

Authorities released a picture Saturday of a man killed 10 days ago while trying to cross a North Richmond street, hoping the picture will help them locate his relative

A friend of Teets has told authorities that he served in the Army and had been living in a group home on Chamberlayne Avenue because of health issues, Cestaro said
