Verdict: GUILTY for both Millard and Smich of 1st degree murder

The uncle is Madeleine Burns' brother. He never took Dellen in so to speak. He simply made a point of spending time with this nephew after WM and MB split, probably so he could have a stable father figure in his life. Remember, Wayne was a drinker and Madeleine had problems of her own. The uncle was likely trying to help out. I think a lot of people misinterpreted his testimony to mean Dellen lived with him, which was not the case.

I wasn't there (at court) so I have no clue what else was said but had to go back and re read his testimony. I too thought RB said he took DM in from age 15-17 years old as well. It does sound like RB is saying that he didn't have much contact with DM in his younger years but DM lived with him for 2 years.

Burns says he knew Millard "sporadically" as he was growing up.

Millard's father Wayne Millard and Millard's mother Madeleine Burns separated for a time, Burns says. For "altruistic reasons," he says, he watched Millard from ages 15 to 17

BTW, I'm not arguing but it seems maybe, we home viewers missed some information?

IIRC, DM is planning on representing himself in LB trial, and he has elected to be tried by judge, not jury (unless I am mistaken).

Obviously, this was his strategy before his guilty verdict. Now that he's been found guilty, do you think he'd prefer trial by jury in LB trial? Can it even be changed?

Hard to imagine any judge in LB trial not being influenced in large part by the evidence presented in Tim Bosma trial.

You bring up a very good point with your example. I noticed that often I had to look at multiple tweets from different journalists to determine the meaning of a question and/or a response. The limitation of the tweets often confused many of us, especially during a fast pace exchange.

For example, many caught the 'word' error when AC tweeted that DM "seemed to run towards SB". This is one example where the word changed everything. This happened many times, and sometimes I was caught shaking my head. In this case it was pointed out that he most likely meant 'turn'.

Will the court transcripts be made public, and if so when?

IIRC, the only trial by judge that we have heard about so far is CN's upcoming trial in November.

Who was the blonde lady who showed up for Millard?

Could it be his mother????

I think she is just a Bible-thumper that took on the cause of supporting society's unlovables.

Wait are you talking about the lady that was praying in the corner and had to be escorted out or the one that was seen frequently in court and was hyperventilating and seen working madly on her phone after the verdicts were read?

The hyperventilator. I heard there was a church lady visiting DM in jail to pray with him. I think she is the same person.

The implication seemed to be they were the same person. Were there two different blonde women with Bibles that showed up in DM's corner?

IMO, I don't believe that the transcripts will ever be freely available to the public online, although the public can pay $1. per page to have it copied.

They have to be 2 different women: the first blonde lady changed glances with DM and was several times in court; the praying lady made MS nervous in an unusual way and was in the courtroom only once. IMO
