Quick-Thinking Girl, 11, Escapes from Grip of Accused Kidnapper by Kicking Him in Groin and Fleeing

A young girl, 11, was able to escape the grip of her alleged kidnapper by kicking him in the groin and running to a friend's nearby apartment.

The Vancouver Police Department quickly got to work and later that same day arrested Jerson Hartman and booked him into custody on charges of second-degree attempted kidnapping and second-degree attempted robbery, according to records obtained by PEOPLE.
