How can there be NO INFO on a 14 year old child? She was "troubled"? She had an apartment of her own?

One has to wonder, would there have been more concern if she was not a child of colour? Would she have been more likely to have been viewed as a child? WHICH IS WHAT SHE WAS BY THE WAY!

I've been searching Ancestry and haven't been able to find anything beyond a residence record of 'Lisa Watson' b 1957 in Tacoma. Not certain it's the same person, though.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything either. That particular Lisa is not our Lisa though. She was born in Ohio with initials LLW.

I just got off the phone with the missing persons specialist assigned to the case. The woman was kind enough to give some insight. Much won't be said publicly at this time but this is a very active case and she has not been forgotten.

Per National MP registry, she was actually 15 but that's not much of a difference. I dont imagine she owned the apartment, was probably crashing with someone.

Possible Compton, ca jane doe ? 1975

On September 13, 1975 in Compton, California, a motorist spotted the body of a nude unidentified female lying in the roadway near 745 W. Artesia Blvd. The passerby told a nearby security guard, who then notified authorities. Once at the medical examiner's office, it was learned that although she had no clothing, she hadn't been sexually assaulted, but she had been shot twice in the head- shockingly, that didn't cause her death- she had been thrown from a moving vehicle, and the traumatic injuries are what led to her demise. She was 14- 17 years old with a slight build, short curly dark hair and eyes, a 1.5" scar on the instep of her left foot, and a gold ring with black stones and a gold flower, a silver ring with white and green stones, a gold bracelet, and a silver keychain necklace. The young woman had no alcohol or drugs in her system. Although she was cremated in 1975, Dna, dentals, and fingerprints are all available. More information can be found in the comments.
