"Remains were found in an area near a known homeless encampment. The body was well off of the established trail, well concealed by a fallen tree. All missing persons in the area that even roughly match, have been accounted for. No one in the area has any idea of who the person could be."

Age Range - 27 and 61 (40 to 60 being most probable)

Head Hair Description- 2-3 inches, straight
Facial Hair Description - Facial stubble present, appears to be lighter colored

The remains of a badly decomposed body found in Bremerton in late 2022 have been identified as belonging to a man from Kitsap County.

According to the Kitsap County Medical Examiner’s Office, the remains are those of 41-year-old Derek Kym Foshay.
