WA - Difficult rescue underway for climber on Vesper Peak

Climbers on Washington's Vesper Peak heard a woman calling for help today. SAR in Snohomish County have found her but the terrain's so difficult they've had to leave her there to pick up more supplies and personnel. Ground search crews are also on the way.

No info on her id or if anyone's been reported missing there. I hope she's okay.

This video was posted a couple of hours ago, with the rescue still ongoing. Those mountains are beautiful but there's a lot of snow and more forecast.

The lady has two dogs with her.

The sheriff’s office helicopter crew flew to the area and spotted the woman but was unable to immediately reach her. They later were able to lower a radio to her and also lowered a crew member, who hiked to her location at the 4,000-foot level.The woman told the team that she was unable to descend because her dogs could not navigate the steep and dangerous terrain, Ireton said...

Also it sounds like this woman isn't too sharp minded and just cost the tax payers of WA a whole lot of money due to her bad judgement.

Above stories said she could not come down because her dogs could not make the descent. This story days the rescuers helped her hike down but did not mention the dogs.

Stranded climber, dogs, all rescued safely. Yaay!

One SAR member slightly hurt. Groan. But hoping he or she gets well soon and the feeling of a good job done well sees him/her through!
