Chelan County man hasn't been seen since Jan. 2021 - YakTriNews.com

Erik B. Isoldi was last seen at his place of employment, the Stevens Pass Ski Resort, on January 1, 2021.

Authorities say that Isoldi last contacted his roommate by phone on or around January 1, 2021.

At that time, Isoldi told his roommate that he was moving to the gold Bar area and that he would be back in a few weeks to collect the remainder of his belongings.

Chelan County officials say that Isoldi purchased a motorhome to move into, but never returned to the area to take possession of his RV.

Additionally, the authorities say that he never returned his belongings.

Since his disappearance, Isoldi has not returned any known phone calls, text messages, or social media requests.

Any chance he and his roommate weren’t getting along?
Was a vehicle he was known to use also missing?
I have a sad feeling that he is no longer alive :(

Doesn't seem like this would be a suicide, because why would he bother buying an RV if he wasn't really going to use it? That would be a lot of work for nothing.

And who reported him missing and why did they wait so long?

There's a few Instagrams for him and a Facebook but none of them have been touched since 2020

I'm confused. Why buy a motorhome and then never pick it up? He didn't go missing until the next month. Makes me think something was going on in his personal life / mental health.

To Note:
•his former roommate CS reported that he last heard from Isoldi on Dec. 30, stating that Erik confided in going to go to a party later and that he was going to move in with a girl in Gold Bar.
•No one knows who this girl is.
•On Dec. 31, 2020, Isoldi failed to report for work at Stevens Pass.
•Vail Resorts fired him for failing to come into work on Dec. 31 2020 or the following New Year's Day

•LE had a few tips from people claiming to have seen Isoldi in Tulalip, Wenatchee, and Goldbar.
•On Sep. 21, a Deputy Shepard had reported to RiverCom 911 that he saw Isoldi driving a Toyota pickup and insisted that they remove him from the missing persons list.
•Soon as detectives realized that Isoldi was taken out, he was subsequently re-entered into the missing persons database.
•there’s been no activity with his banking
•the family is hiring a private investigator

Wow. So a deputy "insisted" Erik be removed from the missing persons list and detectives quickly re-entered him. JMO sounds fishy to me, I'd like to know more about that, especially since the deputy knows Erik as far back as high school.

"[Shepard] told Detective Nelson that he had interactions with him when he was a deputy out west and he went to high school with him, so those interactions [...] combined with his past hanging out with that person in high school, he was confident that it was him," Chief Chris Foreman explained.
...
Baker suspects that foul play was involved in her brother's disappearance. She mentioned that Erik had been in contact with a sketchy character close to where he lived. She also believes that the police hold a bias against her brother due to his previous arrests.

Also concerning and maybe even more so than Erik not picking up the RV he paid for, is that his bank accounts haven't been touched - including his stimulus checks.

JMO I suppose he could have decided to disappear and is living off the grid, something that isn't too difficult to do here in WA state. But he must know that his twin would be worried and looking for him.

Of course, the worst case scenario is that he took his own life but as y'all agree why then would he buy an RV. Does he have mental health issues? According to his twin sister Erik has had troubles with the law so maybe there are issues we don't know about. But his sister also said he'd been hanging out with a "sketchy" person. And I'm not 100% sure about his former roommate. All MOO.

Erik Isoldi told his roommate he was leaving his home in Dryden for a party and to see a new girl he’d met in Gold Bar. He’d be back in a few months.

LE talked to people who attended the party with Isoldi before he disappeared. A pair of incident reports filed in the case shows that deputies have interviewed at least 15 people.

Isoldi was at times a couch surfer and in a way that’s how he came to live at Cody Schober’s home in Dryden.

Isoldi told him he was living in a cave outside town part of the time. He also stayed in a trailer off of Chumstick Highway where he kept his belongings, Schober said.

His last place of employment was at Stevens Pass as a lift operator, but he was fired on or just before New Year’s Day 2021, according to multiple people interviewed for this story.

Many believe an important clue could be the identity of the woman from Gold Bar.

This is my first post, so please let me know if I made any mistakes. Re: the following link, I have these questions:
missing-what-happened-to-erik-Isoldi

“Isoldi told him he was living in a cave outside town part of the time”...and… “a trailer off of Chumstick Highway where he kept his belongings, Schober said”.
-Are these locations known, and have they been searched?
-Could his snowboard gear be recovered for potential evidence (fingerprints?)

“That was the last time I saw him, he was putting his gear into his friend’s car,” Bouffiou said. “Bouffiou doesn’t know who Isoldi was with when they parted ways, but believes he was headed to a party. Adding, “I went east, he went west.”
-What kind of car?
-Is there a description of anyone else in the car?

“(LE) said investigators talked to people who attended the party with Isoldi before he disappeared. A pair of incident reports filed in the case shows that deputies have interviewed at least 15 people.”
-Did he show up to the party? Can the interviewees be reinterviewed in case they were afraid to give certain info?
-Have any of the homeless in gold bar been interviewed?

-who sold him the rv? Where is the RV now?

Has anybody looked into a John Doe #UP104650 found below an observation area at Snoqualmie Falls? They have different reported heights, but otherwise, I'd say they bear a striking simularity if the interpretation of remains is on track, (though that may be a big 'if'). Otherwise, both cases involve a simular neck of Washington, and it stands to reason that if Isoldi had some sort of accident, it would be close to home
