It was announced Tuesday by Chairman Owen R Cheatham Ekholm will continue in charge of the Puget Sound Division managing paper pulp chemical and timber operations in Washington Alaska and British Columbia He attended Katrineholm Technical college Katrineholm Sweden and is one of the nation's leading authorities in the pulp and paper industry He has been chairman and vice chairman of the Pacific Section of the Technical Association of Pulp & Paper Ekholm began his career in (he 1930's as a chemist with Puget Sound Pulp & Timber Company in Bellingham Earlier this year he won the “President’s Achievement Award" as the outstanding employee of Georgia-Pacific corporation
