According to NamUs and Charley Project, Francisco was last seen with two long time friends leaving Toppenish. The friends claimed the vehicle broke down at a 7-11 store and Francisco left walking back to town. He has not been seen since.

I have the impression that his friends know more than they say... they know what really happened to him... maybe they were drunk or drugged and had an argument and reacted badly... I don't think it was a racial crime...
