Investigators searching for missing 17-year-old Bremerton girl

"Based upon the investigation to date, sheriff’s detectives believe that Hevi entered the water on Monday," the Sheriff's Office said in a news release Tuesday evening. "Evidence from the investigation indicates no foul play was involved in her disappearance."

No further search efforts are anticipated, but the investigation remains open
.

Sad! Not many details available for Hevi, and I'm curious if "entering the water" was voluntary. Any of my WS friends local to this? Wondering what's being said in Bremerton.

This is just down the hill from me. I have not heard anything new at all. My thoughts are pretty simple on this.

1- This area is pretty small. Where she parked, which they haven't said exactly on the street or in one of two lots which one lot is larger and the other parks maybe 8 to 10 cars if that and is pretty private. But either way there are businesses that line the couple blocks across the street from the waterfront. She may have left a note in her car possibly? That's just pure speculation on my part.

2- They have not said where they believe she entered the water. If this was accidental then I am thinking the dock. The dock has a big open walkway. Anybody living in the apartments, retirement facility or some businesses on the waterfront could easily see people walking on the walkway to get to the floating dock. Once someone is on the floating dock, which has a pretty big decline ramp, you wouldn't be able to see someone as well sitting on the dock. And the dock moves around and has big metal pilings to hold the dock in place. But it can be dangerous and you could loose your footing.

One thing is, if she did indeed end up in the water, the water pushes from the south towards the waterfront. She eventually more than likely would wash ashore. I hate saying that.. Also this is not a high crime area. Incidents happen of course but it is a very safe little waterfront. I pray she is found soon. Very disheartening.
