This is a very weird one, guys.

His car was found abandoned at a park located in a very shady area (lots of homeless addicts). The hood and trunk were both up and the car had been rummaged through. To make matters even worse, the clothes that he is believed to have been wearing were found a few yards away.

What happened to this guy?

I agree this park can be shady - I used to live in Vancouver and would never go there alone or take my kiddos there. When I read his car was found there, it kind of made my heart sink. I hope he is found safe and sound!

I live literally a few minutes from this park. It is beyond shady. Vancouver/Portland area has a HUGE epidemic with drug addiction and homelessness. This park is right by the I-5 leading from WA to OR. Many addicts and homeless people hang out in this park, and live there. It has never been safe, and it is unfortunate because it is such a beautiful park to walk through. Every time I've been down there, there's questionable items, including a whole outfit scattered in a small creek area of the park. That was a couple years ago, and I never returned due to the feeling it gave me. Cops linger throughout that area near the park consistently, but I am shocked it took them a few days to locate this man, but with the holiday I'm sure that could have been the reason for the "delay". Personally, I think there are countless crimes that have occured to people down there, but I don't hear of much. I follow the local news channels, so if any updates on this case pop up, I'll share them here.

Did James have substance abuse problems which might have led him to this area of known drug users.

Justice for James.

James's pants and belt were removed from his body but not other articles of clothing, this is strange. This looks like foul play.
Nothing new on MSM except waiting for toxicology results. James was a recovering drug addict so this might have something to do with his death. RIP James.
