I believe it to be true. His ex wife , Julia’s mother, is from there, and the photo album has photos taken there as well (eg the Lada car, etc). Julia was born in I think Bulgaria.

I wonder if the sighting of Julia's "father" mentioned here is a "maybe it was him" type of sighting or actually somehow confirmed by LE.

Julia would have suffered to be taken from her mama at that age and would still miss her greatly. I hope she is safe and well and will seek her mother when she's an adult.

My heart goes out to Julia's mother.

I think the nurses in the father’s nursing home confirmed it was him.

It must have been terrible for Julia to be separated from her mother all of a sudden. A judge doesn’t give so easily a restraining order against a parent, so there must have been good reasons to keep her from her father. Poor child, it is an incredibly egoistic and evil act to remove a child like that, the father clearly does not love his daughter and by having to hide, he destroyed her childhood IMO.

JMO. Cannot imagine what this child had to endure :-(

He was angry because the location was in Covid lockdown and stated he "drove a long way," No vehicle was seen. The incident wasn’t reported until after the he had left the nursing home. Bumping for Julia and her poor mom
A felony warrant for 10 years and yet this man cannot be found. No news, zero updates. Makes me very sad.
She is 17 now, I hope she will remember who she is, and search for her mother and go back home where she belongs.

Detectives say Jason Potter is known to have an interest in boats, and could be in Bellingham, Tacoma or Oregon City, Oregon.

He could also be in the Himalayas, India and Nepal.

Detectives say the photo of him dressing as a woman was taken prior to Julia's abduction.

Was she a model? These photos give that impression. I never would have guessed she was 7. She's a beautiful little girl.

I hope that she'll be able to reach out to her mother someday. I would bet that if it was her father who took her, he likely took her out of the country, but she might still be alive.

These are AI generated older looking photos her mom did to try to find her. I personally believe she is alive. If you read all that is available, certainly she is somewhere, under another name and possibly Country. Father had announced to his lawyer he would go,off grid. Poor child, i find it appalling there seems to be no follow,up from LE / the FBI.
Mom had been granted full custody, there surely is a reason for that.
For sure someone must have helped him all these years
