Police are looking for Katherine Ramos Lima, 16 and her 3-month-old son last seen Friday morning.
Her legal guardian, an aunt, lives in Bellevue, but Katherine was dropped at her father's house in Redmond on Wednesday with her son, Sergio Ramos.
She left her father's house on a bus at 9 a.m. Friday for an appointment in Bellevue, which was canceled, police said.
It's not clear whether she went to the location of the appointment, police said.
Police say she doesn't know the area well and had only some baby formula and a diaper bag when she left her father's house.
Police do not believe this is a case of foul play.
Redmond police say she recently moved to Washington from El Salvador and has said she wants to return there.
