Woman’s body found below window of Lynnwood hotel ( link )

Lynnwood police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found below a fourth-floor window of a motel early today.

The body had signs of trauma, and initial speculation was that she may have been shot, but Lynnwood police said medics who examined the body found no signs of gunshot wounds.

Police are in the process of obtaining a warrant to search the room the woman may have been in to help determine what happened.​

The woman had "significant signs of trauma," but there were no obvious injuries other than from the fall, Sessions said.
