casue everytime i tried i heard the tape again

i don't want to hear the tape anymore

it makes me sad

After honoring those involved in the response to the stolen plane out of Sea-Tac earlier this month, a colonel in the Oregon Air National Guard confirmed that the fighter pilots made contact with Richard Russell.

Fighter pilots made 'brief' contact with man who stole plane from Sea-Tac Airport

i wish fbi would turn it over NTSB then we will get everything

‘Airplane of opportunity’? Richard Russell raised pilot’s suspicions a year before Sea-Tac plane heist

This article mentions that he had been interested in flight procedures, a year ago, so the plane theft may not have been an impulsive act.
Interesting. And I wonder why everything is being kept so close to the vest. I can’t imagine a criminal case coming out of this, unless they think someone else knew he was going to do this.

I think about his wife and family daily and wonder how they’re doing. I can’t imagine the pain they must feel.

I In know way mean this as a criticism of stepbrother, but I think it’s very interesting that to me richard sounds haunting and resigned in those audio tapes and to his brother he sounded like always, joking etc. I just think that proves how much our personal experiences can color the way we interpret things.

I'm not really understanding what he is saying. So he thinks his stepbrother was joking when he said he learned to fly from video games? I wonder how he thinks he learned to fly it then.

IMO, the final moments were in direct conflict to his first contact with ATC. I believe the moments step brother was referring to as sounding confident and joking about learning to fly on video games was what he was relating to.

Six years on, the tragic story of a Horizon Air ground service agent who, according to the FBI report, 'intentionally' brought the plane down on Ketron Island, killing only himself, continues to resonate with global audiences, urging focus on mental health issues.
