The search continues for a young Spokane woman, missing for more than a week now. Margaret Cordova, 20, was last seen leaving her friends apartment on January 16th. On Saturday, her friends and family searched the banks of the Spokane River.

The body of Margaret M. Cordova, 20, was found at a wood-waste dumping site at Freya and Fairview Roads Sunday evening.

A man cutting firewood in the area discovered the body hidden in a small depression between an earth bank and piles of wood waste. Sheriff's detectives do not know how long the body was at that location and are interested in any tips regarding suspicious activity at the site since January 17th. Cordova was reported missing after she disappeared that day. She was last seen during the morning hours and family and friends had not seen or heard from her since that time. KXLY media

Brian Frawley was sentenced to 45 years, the maximum allowable, for the murder of Margaret Cordova. He still maintains his innocence.

I heard on last night's news that due to a constitutional technicality regarding the questioning of jurors, Brian Frawley is going to get a new trial for the murder of Margaret Cordova.

Prayers for Margaret's loved ones. This has to be sooo difficult for them -- to have to go through the trial process all over again.
