Found Deceased WA - Maximillian 'Max' Robertson, 40, Olympia, 22 July 2017

Maximillian A. Robertson, also known as Max, went missing on July 22 in Olympia, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a release Thursday.

Robertson, 40, was traveling from California. He was last scene parking his Mercedes van at The Shipwreck Cafe near Madrona Beach Road Northwest, and walking toward the bay.

Five days later, the Sherriff’s Office took a report regarding property found on the 3200 block of Aspinwall Road Northwest, about four miles from where Robertson was last seen.

The property, which was later identified to belong to Robertson, included cash, two cellphones and one iPad.

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office has recovered a body believed to belong to a California man reported missing earlier this month.

Sgt. Carla Carter of the sheriff’s office says the body fits the description of a 40-year-old man from California who disappeared July 22 in Olympia.

Carter says the county coroner’s office is working to confirm the identity.
