Robert Abbott was last seen at his home in Spokane on April 2, 2024. Abbott is a 62-year-old white man who is around 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. Abbott has white hair and hazel eyes.

"[Robert's wife] Starr Abbott describes her husband as someone who always goes out of his way to help others. On the day he went missing, she said she was at her mother's home. When she came home, she found what appeared to be blood on the floor. "I didn't get out here until the following day," Starr Abbott said. "I didn't even know that it was blood. At first, I was questioning it and it was dry, whatever it was.” She said Major Crimes Detectives may have found a bullet fragment in a couch cushion and on the ground. Her husband's missing BMW was eventually found at a trailer park in Mead."

Robert left the dogs inside without food or water. Family said that Robert would never leave the dogs. Both of Robert's cell phones go straight to voicemail.
