This appears to be his sister's obituary. I think they assumed Robert is deceased. JoAnn Trower, 51

Looks like he may have been born in Japan with his sister. Immigrated in 1957 as per his mothers obituary.

He attended Olympic View School (closed as of 2005) for elementary school, Dewey Jr High (Now Bremerton High) for middle school in 1968, graduated from East High School in 1974.

Moved to the Seattle area in 1962. His father died in 1975 while he was stationed in Germany with the army.

Someone with the same name living in Bremerton from 1993-2004. Birth date seems right too (year before his parents immigrated).

Since his father was also in the army I assume he was born at a military base outside the U.S. He was able to enroll in the army which means that he was a citizen by the time he graduated high school.
