A new NamUs casefile was created yesterday for Sallie Belle Maxine Signani of Renton WA

A bit of googling led me to this Genealogy site.

She is listed here as Sallie Belle Maxine Gard. She was born on 24-Aug-1940 in Enumclaw, WA. Her death is listed as "Abt Jun 1973", so this appears to be the same woman.

It indicates that she had seven children, and was the daughter of Rodney Alvera Gard and Dessie Isabelle McDaniel.

I couldn't find any photos of Sallie from the time that she disappeared (at the age of 32). However, here is a photo of her at the age of about 15-16 from the 1956 Enumclaw High School yearbook.

Sounds like she disappeared locally...and the distance between Renton and Falls City is about 26 miles...

Although the remains could have possibly drifted from elsewhere...

I presume they looked at her ex-husband, Lawrence Antonio Signani, who she divorced in 1972. In 1998 he was arrested for assault and domestic violence ( https://www.courtrecords.org/people/LAWRENCE+SIGNANI+WA/ ).

Circumstances: The Missing person (MP) was recently divorced and left home to live with another man. She failed to show up for work on a Monday in early June 1973. Investigation done at that time was apparently lost. New case originated in 2003.

My money's on the recently divorced husband, particularly after @alb1on pointed out that he was later arrested for domestic violence.
