That’s not so far from Seattle. It could be from a victim of Gary Ridgway, but unless they have some way of knowing for certain it’s from the past 40 years (fillings, say, or distinctively modern dental work) I also wonder if it might be historic. The Skykomish passes through some very rough and sparsely populated land, and it’s not at all impossible for a single bone to have been washed down from the mountains by spring snowmelt.
