April 26, 2024
For Immediate Release
Earlier this week (April 24, 2024), the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office in conjunction with the Spokane Police Department, distributed a news release requesting assistance from the public regarding an unidentified male found on February 26th, 2024.
The Medical Examiner’s Office was flooded with leads from the public and questions about missing loved ones. Thanks to the information they were able to gather, today the Spokane County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Veena Singh, has released the identity of the deceased, along with the cause and manner of his death.

• Age: 38 yrs
• Cause of death: Toxic effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine
• Manner of death: Accident

The Medical Examiner’s Office thanks the public for their assistance in identifying Mr. Croy and returning him to his family."
