William Delano disappeared while elk hunting in Humptulips, WA. He was carrying a .270 caliber rifle. He did not return home and a search was conducted where he left his vehicle with negative results. William had suffered a nervous breakdown the previous year. He had a felony warrant for his arrest at the time. He has relatives in Canada, and may have disappeared intentionally.

He has brown hair and hazel eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was 5'10" to 5'11" and 165 to 175 pounds. He was wearing red plaid jacket, black jeans, and tennis shoes.

I have the impression, as does the police, that this man escaped to avoid being prosecuted for this serious crime... what was the crime? Murder, grand theft, kidnapping, etc.? Perhaps he lives in Canada with a different name and appearance, a new identity card... it is also probable that he is already dead, he would be 75 years old...
