If the plants found were still in pots and thriving at the mondex, we can pretty easily assume that they belonged to a person who goes to the mondex.They may have been recently placed there. They could tell by the condition. Way too much to believe that a stranger happened to pick that place (it is well hidden) to store their potted plants. I got the impression they were in pots. They could have belonged to tommy even. But somebody in that crownd knows who the owner is. Tommy is the one who most likely told LE about the pots after he was pressed by them for info. They may have told him, "Look, we know you have pot, we have seen the PICS, tell us what you know and where you put the plants". The plants could be his stash or another's but it appears related to Haleigh because LE drained the pond when they found the stash. It couold be concluded that whoever told LE about Mondex and the plants connected it to a possible Haleigh location.

We have several people talking about this place...all of them connected to Haleigh. LE needed to rule out that Haleigh was not in that pond.Was she there at one time though? Were there really squeaky shoes? and did them come from wet rubber hitting the tile in the MH?

IMO the plants were not Ron's. LE found them about 7 months and 10 days after Haleigh went missing. From what I have searched most plants are harvested anywhere from 3 to 6 months. If they were left out there since Feb and grew they would be huge and LE would have spotted them from the air.

Well, since helicopters were flying overhead at the same time as the plants were discovered, then LE may have done just that: spotted them from the air first, then followed up on the ground. LE was investigating the pond, helicopters were used to fly over the pond, I feel confident that the pots were spotted at the exact same time as the pond investigation was in progress. Have you read anything stating how tall the plants were? I'm thinking that if they were put into the woods at the time of Haleigh's disappearance then they would have been pretty huge seven months later since the "owner" couldn't harvest the crop since he was under so much scrutiny. I'm thinking that it is very possible that the plants were put in that area at the same time that Haleigh was reported missing.

BBM I have not seen anything that states how big they were. I don't think LE made that public. I wish they would.
