rashomon, check your PM box.

Yes, the questions were limited, but I'm guessing that whoever wants us to answer chose them first.

I was very surprised to see the results above. :waitasec: Surprised "other reasons" has the highest votes. What are some of the other reasons posters think happened? I voted "wet the bed".

Good poll!

She could have had an acute mental breakdown, possibly from an undiagnosed psychological disorder,(such as bipolar disorder),which in layman terms is severe mood swings. That may have been exacerbated and brought on by holiday stress and/or fatigue, the combo of meds and alcohol,and/or the effect on her brain of the experimental chemo she went thru(possibly compounded by premature menopause brought on by surgery, and lack of proper HRT replacement).
From what I've read about PR,I beleive she had some signs and symptoms of BPD.

Just curious, what signs and symptoms did Patsy display that leads you to believe she could have had BiPolar Disorder?

I'll get back to the previous post later, but in a nutshell here,if I ever had ovarian cancer, I would NOT want the experimental treatment that PR got.Yes, she lived for 13 yrs, highly unusual for stage 4 ovarian cancer, but this is one reason I wish they had admitted it....PR may have had a breakdown due to the chemo effect on her brain, and she should have been examined for that,IMO.(And lack of hormone replacement may have added to the effect,and/or a previous undx'ed mental illness).I hope experts study that combo of drugs and see if any others have had bad effects from it,or even refrain or have refrained from giving that combo until it's been studied more,if it hasn't been.I know I would rather die myself than risk hurting anyone else for the sake of living longer.

Well, she did go from really amped-up to cold-as-ice pretty rapidly!
