Well, well, well, this should be good

Thanks, Barbara. I was pretty sure calls would be screened, but I thought maybe I could sneak in something like, "Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey, why is there an umbrella over your heads? Is it raining in the studio?"

I guess I won't be able to. Shucks.

imo

But the reason I think they will 'run out of time' or something is that there are surely very passionate people out there that want a chance to confront or just plain humiliate them....The only way around it, as far as I can see, is if they ALREADY know who is going to call. The delay is fine, but imagine every single caller asks about the murder? It would be a train wreck segment.

My umbrella comment would have been less of a waste of air time than the Ramseys blathering on and on, lying about what wonderful, caring, innocent people they are.

If I could ask Mr. Ramsey one question it would probably go something like this: Mr. Ramsey, in the book Death of Innocence you stated that your SOLE mission in life was to find your daughter's killer...even if you had to spend every cent. Mr. Ramsey., won't the time consumming task of running for public office interfere with your SOLE mission? Or when the case was taken away from LE, and given to the DA did you consider your mission complete?

I've been waiting for this. I knew John Ramsey would use Larry King to promote himself again. And Larry King - not being the sharpest knife in the drawer - goes along with it.

Although I get your point about John, LK may need controversial guests to keep his ratings up. He has been accused of pitching softballs to his guests before.

I wonder if CNN is going to give the other candidates equal time. It doesn't seem fair for only John to be given the opportunity (maybe CNN is even paying him) to announce his candidacy on LKL.

They might possibly do that. But the focus of the discussion would be whether the candidates would attack John as unfit due to questionable circumstances. This avenue would make them and LKL out as taking a cheap shot, and I don't think either would do it.

Well I can't speak for the other candidates, but as for Larry King, he is probably trying to line 'em up as we speak... lol... LKL always makes me think of the song Dirty Laundry by Don Henley. Get the widow on the set! We need dirty laundry. The gorier, the better.
