When Did the Anthony Family Know Caylee was Gone?

  • #161
You know how sometimes you know something, but you don't want to accept it? I think this is how it was for George, and especially, Cindy. They knew something was up when they had seen hide nor hair of Caylee in weeks. Not even a phone call, and KC had been dodging Cindy's calls less and less artfully as the days wore on. The stories were getting more and more fanciful, car wrecks with injuries, and KC never in the town or the place that she said she would be. They knew something was going on, something rotten in Denmark, but I don't think that they believed little Caylee was dead until they smelled that car. I think that up until that point their worst case scenarios were more along the lines of KC leaving her with and amongst unsuitable, unstable characters who might be on drugs and who might abuse or molest her. Maybe even expose her to the horrors of child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. But I don't believe that either Anthony actually believed that KC would murder her own child and simply continue partying her summer away. Then things came to a head and they got the car back and it smelled like death, and they were forced to consider the fact that they had raised a sociopathic, murderess daughter.
