Where to post, if at all?

Not sure where to post, or if it isn't a WS topic:

A body was found in Caroga, Fulton County, NY, a few days ago. At first, the person was not identified. There was little information released in the first article I saw. Nothing came up in a search of WS. When I looked for more information today, thinking I might start a thread (still no results on WS), a new article said the man had been identified, but that LE was asking for help in figuring things out -- such as why the man ended up where he had, as there were no known connections.

Would there a be a place to post that?
