i'm looking for the "neither" option...........

children fighting over food is common behaviour. but i'm not sure where that gets us.

many of the boulder experts in this case don't think JR is involved in crime at all except covering up for PR/BR way after the fact (after the RN is "discovered")

During The ENQUIRER interview, Patsy admitted she considered and rejected the possibility that John was sexually abusing JonBenet. She openly admitted that during her struggle to defeat ovarian cancer between 1993 and 1994, John and Patsy's sex life suffered. She totally rejects the notion of John abusing JonBenet, but her reasoning is odd.

She said her mother "came to take care of the kids (when I had cancer). She slept in the other bed in JonBenet's room. I mean, if John was coming in to molest JonBenet, you know that's not going to happen 'cause Grandma was right there every night."

Defending the R's

Was Patsy's mom present the night of 25 Dec 1996, yes or no?

Snipped for focus

I have always thought it strange that Patsy said all that instead of “...John would never do such a horrible thing.” Bonus points for working in “God-fearin’ Christian” somewhere.

I fully believe, even though experts disagree, that JBR was sexually abused and this is the foundation of the whole case. We all tend to come up with theories from it was her brother, to JR to PR and intruder and so on. Really one only needs to look at the basic known facts and then see who those facts point to. Sometimes overthinking is the very enemy at times it really is as it is and simple as it is. I am not one who believes in coincidences, if you have many of them pointing in one direction, there is a reason for that. While there may be not direct 100 percent for sure evidence saying one thing or the other, all the little things add up on thier own and show you who was responsible.

And of course, everybody knows that men are by far the most common sexual abusers and perpetrators of violent crime. Pinning your own crime on "the most likely perpetrator" is often done. (Sometimes it's just done for justification.) So we get Sharon Smith claiming that her car was hijacked by a black male and the Menendez brothers claiming that their father sexually abused them. There are many examples.

JimL2020,

Dr. Andy Sirontak, Chief of Denver Children’s Hospital Child Protection Team and Coroner Meyer separately concluded that JonBenét had been subjected to some type of sexual contact prior to the date of her death..

Both Sirontak and Meyer conducted a direct hands-on physical examination of JonBenet, everyone else has only ever looked at photographs or read CSI reports.

This allows for the case to be PDI, with Patsy faking a sexual assault with the use of the paintbrush, writing the RN, etc all to cover that she whacked JonBenet on the head either intentionally or accidentally, the rest is simply staging and bluff.

This does not deny JonBenet had been, was being sexually abused, just that on the night of her death sexual assault was not a motive, simply an aspect of the staging.
