Who would you pick to interview John Ramsey and why? What three questions would you ask?

It seems like so many of the True Crime/Web Sleuths communities are frustrated by the seemingly lack of independent journalism when it comes to the interviews of John Ramsey. So!
Just imagine: You have been given Executive Producer power, for a 60 minute style, live, prime time interview with John Ramsey. Who do you choose to conduct that interview and what three questions would you pose to him?

I would love to see him sit down with Ann Curry. It's hard to decide what to ask because he's got to have so many responses practiced and thus I'm not sure his response and body language would mean a lot. However...

1. Mr. Ramsey, did you have anything to do with your daughter's death?

2. Can you think of anyone, anyone at all, that you can visualize as having had potential involvement?

3. What leads you to believe that said person/persons might have had involvement, and why?

It's really hard to decide, because I'm not sure how much meaningful information anyone will get out of him at this late date, but those are my best guesses at useful questions.

I might go with Andrea Canning because I've seen her ask some tough questions and my 3 questions would be:

1. Because the ransom note may have referenced things like your bonus and the writing had similarities to Patsy's, do you feel like the killer of your daughter tried to frame either you or Patsy?

2. If you took yourself out of the equation and were looking at all of the evidence from an outsiders point of view, can you see why a lot of people do not believe in the intruder theory?

3. Will you submit to an FBI conducted polygraph test to finally prove to everyone that you did not kill or know who killed Jonbenet?

I choose Rachel Maddow of MSNBC. Although her interviews are political and non-adversarial, I like the way she starts out summarizing her interviewee’s position and then asking “Do I have that right?”

My three questions (I have so many more!!):

1) Why did you (or Patsy) risk JB’s life calling friends to come to your house if the note said it was being watched?

2) Why weren’t you and Patsy distressed when the call from the “kidnappers” didn’t come on time?

3) Why did you carry your daughter up from the basement, contaminating her and the crime scene?

Since I can not name any good hosts to conduct the interview I can not answer that part unfortunately. But my questions would be:

1) What was so important that made you want to leave to another state so quickly after your daughters dead body had just been found?

2) What was the reason for sealing all Burkes records (school and medical) from the police?

3) How and why did the phone and credit card records go missing for the month of December?

But then again I doubt if those answers would be reliable anyway, so I would ask those or any questions from John only if he would be tied to an polygraph under my eyes (or given some drugs that would make him spill his beans more likely).

I want to know those answers also. Phone records for December…BR medical records … major and crucial information. Didn’t JR gift his pilot one of his planes? IIRC?

In all honesty, no one. None. IMO he can sit down with investigators and answer their questions. Unscripted and without prompt. And even better, why not include a polygraph conducted by an accredited licensed FBI or similar professional. And how about depositions under oath.

If one wants to seek or ensure justice for a young child, that would IMO be more productive and enlightening. It does not seem that more documentaries and public statements have served the case. Christmas of 1996. 28 Christmas’ past if math serves me. SMH. MOO

What do you think lead the Grand Jury to believe, with probable cause, JonBenet lived in a dangerous, life threatening environment, that you and Patsy were completely aware of, and ignored.

Just about all your friends were among all the suspects at one time or another. Many named by you. Those friends showed up for swabs, and interviews and hair samples…Yet is appears all your inner circle of friends were eventually alienated by you and Patsy. - except the Stines. The last people to see your family “intact” before the murder, yet you didn’t contact them morning of the 26th. What was your relationship with the Stines, and how was that relationship different from all your other friends?

These are great questions. Especially the first.

My choice would be Johnny Mendes, the CIA spy. She has discussed the importance of forming great questions while she rooted out traitors. I would love to see her take on this.
