Names are in alpha order by first name except for Annie, who is first.

If an adult has been named in mainstream media, you may use their first and last name; otherwise, use only first name and last initial. If you are not sure, use first and last initial of name. In some instances, I chose to use first name and last initial even though the person had been named in mainstream media.

Annie Marie Le – Native of Placerville, CA; born July 3, 1985 (also reported as July 18 and July 31). She was a 2007 graduate of Rochester University, did summer project at NIH (bone tissue engineering). The 24-year-old Vietnamese woman has brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes, is 4’ 11” and weighs 90 pounds. Reported missing by one of two roommates on September 10; Annie Le is a third year as a doctoral student in pharmacology and molecular medicine, and was last seen at her laboratory at 10 Amistad Street (three-block walk from her office). In video surveillance (September 8), she was wearing a knee-length brown skirt, a bright green short-sleeved t-shirt, brown shoes and a brown necklace. Her purse containing credit cards and money, and her cell phone were left in her office in Sterling Hall of Medicine. Her remains were found September 13, 2009, the day she was to have been married. FBI has been called in to help. Raymond John Clark III – Person of interest, later arrested and charged with Annie Le’s murder. Had scratches on his arms and chest (allegedly from his cat) and he failed a polygraph. Lab technician at Yale lab; sent text to Annie Le the day she disappeared. Ray was 2004 graduate of Branford High School. "He did not show up for work Tuesday (my note: after Le was found) - and neither did his sister, brother-in-law or fiancée, all of whom work in the same lab and have the same job." When he was questioned by the FBI, agents took note of numerous injuries on his body, the source said, including what appeared to be bruises and abrasions on his arms, a mark under his eye, a scratch on his right ear, and a bruise or deep scratch to his chest.
