Silver Alert issued in Milwaukee County for missing Bonnie High, 84, Black, Female, 5'2" 118lbs, with brown eyes, white hair, has gray walker. Missing on foot. Last seen wearing Navy head covering, tan/brown zip up jacket, sky blue short sleeve shirt with flowers, navy blue capri sweat pants, white socks, black slides (sandals), Missing from W Willow Dr., Oak Creek, WI 53154, Date and Time Last Seen: 08-25-2021 at 0900.

Anyone with information is asked to call Oak Creek Police Department at 414-762-8200.

According to the Silver Alert, Bonnie High was last seen at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, leaving her assisted living facility on West Willow Drive in Oak Creek with her walker.

How fast could miss bonnie go with a walker? Was she missing before the name sounds so familiar.

So glad to hear she was found safe. When I first read the circumstances, I thought, “Not again!” as I was just following a similar case here of a another woman (Barbara Ann Doyle in AR) who walked out of an assisted living facility, too. Well, sadly, they just found her, deceased. So, I’m very glad they found Bonnie High in time before it became a tragedy.

It is such a difficult problem that needs a solution when those suffering with dementia are the kind that have the urge to wander. :(
