Police are asking for the community’s help to find a missing man.

According to the La Crosse Police Department, 55-year-old Dean D. Smith was last seen in La Crosse on Sunday. Smith told family he was going to drive to the Middleton area. His family has not seen or heard from him since he left.

Smith is 6’1” tall, weighs 480 pounds, has blue eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants. He is believed to be driving a 2002 GMC Envoy with Wisconsin plates 496-PER.

My hubby's age/Senior discount.

The flyer said he wasn't feeling well. I wonder if he was going to a medical facility?
ETA It says he was going home.

LaCrosse to Middleton-
Hubby says it can be hilly.

ETA It seems he was halfway home where his phone last pinged.

I hope they are searching the routes. If he wasn’t feeling well, he may have pulled over.

I wondered the same. With his age and weight, he could vary well have had a cardiac issue. I wonder if this route has a wooded area or an area that, if he had a medical issue, he could have left the roadway and his car ended up hidden from view? moo
