The UW-Stout Police Department is investigating a missing student case. Devon Jenkins-Joshua, 23, a freshman from the Milwaukee area, has not been seen or heard from since the early hours of Dec. 18, 2018.
At 12:05 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2018, officers were requested to do a welfare check on Devon Jenkins-Joshua at his room in McCalmont Hall on UW-Stout’s main campus. Officers checked the room for Jenkins-Joshua and were unable to locate him. Officers also were unsuccessful in locating Jenkins-Joshua’s vehicle on campus.
As the investigation continued, we learned that he has been absent from class and has not contacted family. It appears most of his personal belongings were left behind, and his cell phone is inactive. No information could be obtained as to where he would have gone. At this point, there is no suspicion of foul play.
Jenkins-Joshua is described as 5’8” tall, weighs 185 pounds and is African-American. His vehicle is a 2018 Kia Soul, blue with a white roof, Wisconsin license plate of ADT2932. If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Jenkins-Joshua, please contact UW-Stout Police at (715) 232-2222, Ext. 1, or contact your local authorities.
