Home on Southridge Drive in Kiel where three people were found dead May 26, 2019 (WBAY photo)

The DOJ says Kiel Police responded to a medical call at the home on the 100-block of Southridge Drive Sunday night but got no answer. Police officers went inside and found the bodies...

A neighbor told us earlier that two adults, a man and a woman, along with a child lived in the home.

The State Department of Justice, which is leading this investigation at the request of the Kiel Police Department, says it has no new information on the case but says the public is not in any danger."

"...Wood’s son-in-law memorializes Wood and Mason, her grandson... Wood's son-in-law calls her a “loving and caring mother” to two children and a “passionate, loving and giving grandmother” to his five children plus Mason.

“It is safe to say she really enjoyed making sure her grandchildren were blessed with grandma love and gifts,” the page reads. “Our family will forever be grateful for the impact and influence she had.” Wood’s son-in-law recounts Wood hosting birthday parties for her grandchildren as well as traveling to be present for the birth of all but one grandchild.

The page describes Mason as a “spirited, respectful and smart” child who touched the lives of everyone he met. Mason was respectful beyond his years, according to the page. “Mason loved to laugh, loved to learn, loved to play and loved his family,” Wood’s son-in-law wrote."

DOJ identifies three people found dead in Kiel home, including 10-year-old boy

The question comes to mind as to who made the 911 call. One of the three people who died--but was not yet dead when they made the call?

Yes and no... it did take the medical examiner longer then usual, I believe on average it takes 6-12 weeks for some of the results to get back, so it's a bit outside of that window... but if the family had requested that things not be released until the case of closed, they could have been following that request.
