A vehicle was stolen at about 10:25 a.m. on the 2500 block of West Becher Street. The vehicle has been recovered but the child is still missing. Jamareiyonna L Buchanan-Murdock, is black and stands 3 feet tall. She was last seen wearing a black jacket over a pink hooded sweatshirt and green boots. She was seen seated in a pink and black front facing car seat that is also still missing.

The suspect thieves are two black males who were last seen driving in a dark gray or navy blue Mazda SUV.

Police said they're working on issuing an Amber Alert.

While checking this story of an anticipated Amber Alert, I found the following update. I can't seem to delete the thread:

Milwaukee Police say that a four-year-old child who had been reported missing after being inside a stolen vehicle has been found safe at her school.

Police also say that after further investigation, the report her father gave police of an abduction was false, and he has been arrested. Investigators continue to look into the matter.
