Missing From: Beloit, WI Clemons resident of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Clemons was scheduled to deliver a truck to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area in June 2000. He became stuck in the mud near Rochester, Minnesota on June 17, 2000 and was helped back onto the road. Clemons never arrived at Milwaukee. He was last seen walking away from the vehicle near Interstate 90 and Interstate 43 in Beloit, Wisconsin. He has not been seen or heard from since June 17, 2000.

Details of Disappearance​

Clemons was employed as a truck driver in 2000. He was a resident of the New York City borough of Brooklyn at the time. Clemons was scheduled to deliver a truck to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area in June 2000.

He became stuck in the mud near Rochester, Minnesota on June 17, 2000 and was helped back onto the road by the police, who gave him directions to Milwaukee. Clemons never arrived at Milwaukee, however. He was last seen walking away from the vehicle near Interstate 90 and Interstate 43 in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Clemons's vehicle, a 2000 GMC dump truck with the title "Vulcan Basement Waterproofing" imprinted on one of its sides, was discovered abandoned on Millington Road at approximately 11:45 a.m.

Authorities believe Clemons used his credit cards at a Conoco gas station in Albert Lee, Minnesota shortly after he was last seen in Wisconsin. He has also used the card in Champaign, Illinois and Des Moines, Iowa since he left New York.

Clemons does not usually make deliveries; his job is to maintain the shipping yard for the trucking company, which had employed him for ten years prior to his disappearance. He has numerous memory lapses. However, his boss states that he was anxious to make the delivery to Milwaukee. He has not been seen or heard from since June 17, 2000.

Unknown human remains were found 10/13/24 in the 8600 block of N Pine Rd in Milton Township, WI. The area where the remains were found in public hunting grounds is only 25 miles due north of where Mr. Clemons was last noted to have been seen.

His card was used after his disappearance in MN, IL and IA. It seems they believe it was him using the card. I cannot find confirmation listed anywhere that it was in fact Mr. Clemons using the card.

Felt that this should be posted on his thread due to the location and circumstances of his last known movements.

I believe there is an updated article since the one below dated 10/16/24. If located, I will post it here but I believe the remains are still unidentified.

The sheriff’s office and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the human remains found in the area of 8622 N. Pine Road. Sheriff’s deputies and a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Warden were dispatched to the area around 9:37 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

If you want to recommend they compare these, be aware the doe you are talking about is being tested by the Dane county ME. The rock county sheriff owns the doe case. I still think the doe is likely Adam mills, pending examination, and said as much to the Milton pd. But they told me they know nothing about the body (then again this was last year).

I’ve had very much better luck with Beloit pd, they are very responsive even by email. I’d suggest telling them and/or Dane county me (less responsive) about the possible match.
