Missing Kenosha man, retired police officer, last seen Sunday

Kenosha police are asking for help locating a missing 64-year-old person last seen on the city's south side near 36th Avenue and 85th Street around 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16.

Jeffrey O’Connor, a retired Kenosha police officer, left home on foot and did not take belongings with him.

A photo of O'Connor was taken Sunday afternoon from a Ring doorbell camera. He was wearing a dark-colored jacket, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Kenosha police seek missing man last seen Jan. 16

Police say he left home on foot and did not take his phone, identification, keys or money.

He was last seen on a Ring doorbell camera near 48th Avenue and 87th Place.

UPDATE: Missing Kenosha man last seen in Schulte Park area; residents urged to check residential cameras

Update:
According to an update on the police department's website Wednesday, Jeffrey O'Connor was last seen at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of Schulte Park, 4400 87th Place. Authorities encourage residents of the area to check any cameras they may have that could have captured his image.


O'Connor has been missing since around 3 p.m. Sunday, according to Lt. Joe Nosalik of the Kenosha Police Department. Nosalik said the man’s wife reported him missing early afternoon on Monday. He had left his home on foot and did not take any belongings with him.


According to Nosalik, the man has no known medical condition.

Authorities on Monday conducted the search in surrounding neighborhoods in Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie and a nearby wooded area and included the deployment of a drone. The search continued on Tuesday, but he has not yet be found, Nosalik said.

Village police said Sunday there were no apparent signs of trauma upon discovering the body of a retired Kenosha police officer in a private wooded area used for hunting.
