A three-quarter length green quilted jacket. Flannel shirt.

That seems to me to be significant clothing for the temperatures on that day, low of 73 and hi of 93. Also noting his last seen date was Mother's Day weekend. Perhaps he was travelling to a cooler environment or lived somewhat transiently.

Joseph Antczak was last seen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 12th, 1984. He has never been heard from again. There are very little details known in this case.

It is possible that he was carrying a bag with extra clothing, a razor, and $200.

Joseph is a white male, 5’5”, and 120 pounds. His hair is gray or partially gray and he has blue eyes. On one of his arms, he has a tattoo of a woman with high heels. On the other arm, he has a tattoo of a horseshoe. He also has an tattoo of an eagle on his chest.

His right leg is shorter than his left leg due to a hip replacement, which causes him to walk with a limp as a result.

He was last seen wearing a ¾ length GRN quilted jacket or brown nylon jacket, a flannel shirt, dark blue work pants, and black leather shoes. He wears black horn-rimmed glasses.

Joseph may use the last name Stephens and/or Stevens.

Joseph was 64 years old when he went missing. He would 101 years old today.

In Milwaukee at the time, and born ~1920, was Edward Joseph Antczak, Joseph Thomas Antczak, and just plain Joseph Antczak. I cannot tell which he is because he seems to alter his name. A WWII draft card with a 1920 date of birth and father's name is listed under Joseph Thomas Antczak. It said he was honorably discharged from the Canadian Army in 1942. He listed his home as transient. He put for mail: General delivery, Portland, Oregon. Here's the link if you have ancestry. Edward was born in 1922, and plain Joseph I haven’t found a dob for. I think we need some clarity on the social security number to compare to the database.

I got confirmation from the pd, his dob is January 2, 1920. Which means his middle name isn’t Edward, it’s Thomas.

So we could consider a transient lifestyle with connections to Wisconsin, Oregon, and Canada at least.

Which means he's kinda used to it, so his walking off with a few items is not out of character. Maybe intended to ride the rails? He was born in Milwaukee, what made him take off to Vancouver to sign up for the Canadian military? How weird.

I find no UID in Oregon via Namus that fit, and no one in Namus with an eagle tattoo that fits.

This doesn’t really matter, but he first enlisted in Vancouver (Washington) for the us army, then somehow must have changed his mind, went over the border and signed up with them? I guess he would have been considered awol?
