The Dunn County Sheriff's Office says search crews are looking for 59-year-old Kathleen Schlosser around the Chippewa River, northeast of Rock Falls. Thats where they say Schlossers car was found Monday night. The search first began around 6 p.m. in Caryville.
According to crews at the scene, it's possible the woman went into the water, but the reason is unknown.
The department says Schlosser was taking medication and has health problems.
The department says about 40 volunteers are helping in the search, including the Blue Hills Mounted Search and Rescue Team, which is currently looking for the woman on horseback, and a local pilot has been searching from the air as well.
