Police search for missing Grant County woman

Police are attempting to locate Patricia Hartline who was last seen in Mineral Point on May 2nd.According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Patricia’s family is concern for her welfare and they have not been able to locate her.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Patricia to make sure she is okay. If you have seen her, please contact your local law enforcement center.

Patricia drives a 2006 Silver Ford Focus ZX4.

What I found by digging:

Very odd disappearance. It appears she is a former teacher at a technical college in the town and is well known and loved by her community. Her son has stated nobody has even so much as seen her vehicle past May 2 2018.
All hospitals within 40 miles of Fennimore have been called - she is not listed as a patient at any of them.
Her prescriptions for her medications have NOT been renewed; her cellphone was left on her kitchen table.
If Patty wasn't at home, she was normally attending to her mother who is currently in in-home hospice care.
Patricia suffers from severe depression and without her meds she would be very unstable.
She filled up with fuel at Kwik Trip in Fennimore and has not been seen since.

**Missing Person - Patricia Hartline - Update**

The Grant County Sheriff's Office continues to search and seek information regarding Patricia Hartline, who left her home on May 2, 2018 in rural Fennimore and has not been heard from or seen since. The Sheriff's Office has been working closely with the family searching out every possible lead and checking all records/accounts associated with Patricia to see if there is any activity. When she went missing initially, our office attempted a Silver Alert, but she is under the age of 60, which didn't allow us to send out the alert. Between the family and the Deputy handling the case, they have been in contact with everyone they can think of that knows her, had law enforcement check locations where they thought she might go, with no luck.

We appreciate all the people who have shared the initial Facebook post, as it helped get the message out to thousands of people. She has been entered as a missing person and an a alert will soon go out on Critical Reach, which will help us reach a wider audience.

Feel free to share the bulletin.

NEW: Missing Grant County woman found deceased

I don't have Facebook so the link to the Grant County Sheriff's Office doesn't work for me but according to the article link above the FB page has been updated:

"The Grant County Sheriff's Office said that the body of a missing Fennimore woman was found Wednesday afternoon.

In a statement made on their Facebook page, it said a farmer found Patricia Hartline's vehicle shortly after noon.

Hartline's body was found inside the vehicle."
