Lori Krueger and Bruce Verdone used Stacy’s social security number to open a bank account in Hudson, WI for a fictitious religious association. It looks like this happened in or around 1995 (when Stacy was around 8 years old). Bruce was subsequently charged with tax evasion in 1998.

You are doing awesome research! So it looks like Lori was alive at the time of the obit. And she had a son with Verdone?

I’ve been deep diving this case and also found this fact interesting. I haven’t had much definitive luck tracking that son down.. possible matches I found led to Arizona, Massachusetts, and Ohio

Fb search "Rita Krueger" looks a lot like Lori. And she has a daughter "Kathleen krueger" who looks so much like Stacy, who's middle name was/is Ann Kathleen. Was having a hard time finding family ties to any other the other last names however. But the facial similarities were crazy to me. Another weird coincidence is "Rita's" now partners name is Bruce...different last name though

Bruce’s trail is elusive beginning in 1998 (possibly because he went to prison/jail for tax evasion, although I have yet to find the actual sentence handed down to him for that) but I ultimately lose his track in 2013.
