Recovered/Located WI - Tobias Jones, 29, possibly abducted, Milwaukee, 1 Feb 2019 *critical missing*

MPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Critical Missing Tobias E. Jones. Mr. Jones is a 29 year old black male, 5’05, 160 lbs, he has brown eyes and long brown and black dreadlocks.

Mr. Jones was last seen on Thursday, January 31st, 2019, at approximately 1:00 pm and was last seen wearing a black Adidas jacket and black Adidas pants.

He was last seen driving a 4 door teal Nissan Altima sedan (stock photo below).

Mr. Jones matches the description of the individual taken in the possible abduction that occurred on February 1st, 2019, on the 5000 block of N. 26th St at about 1:30am.

MPD asks for help in finding man who was possibly abducted
The Police believe Jones matches the description of a man who was abducted around 1:30 PM in the area of N 26th Street and W Fairmount Avenue. When Police responded to the site Friday, they were told a man had been beaten by two suspects and then forced into a car that fled the area.

The suspects in the possible abduction are described as a black males, 27 to 30-years-old. Suspect 1 is 6-feet tall with a slim build, last seen wearing dark clothing. The second suspect is described as having a slim build, but his height is unknown. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.

UPDATE: Police say Milwaukee man has been located, no longer believed to be in danger

Milwaukee police on Sunday afternoon said a man who was the subject of a “critical missing” alert earlier in the day has had “face-to-face” contact with his family.

He is no longer believed to be in danger.
