"Winnipeg police say they will investigate an allegation by a young aboriginal man who says people appearing to be police officers picked him up then dumped him on the outskirts of the city.


Police chief Keith McCaskill confirmed Thursday an investigation will be launched into claims by Evan Maud, which have evoked memories of the infamous "starlight tours" some police forces have subjected aboriginal men to in the past with deadly consequences."
