One dead following Thursday morning fire in Lincoln County

State and county officials still are investigating the cause of the fire and the cause of the person's death.

“Firefighters found human remains inside the home while still putting out the fire, according to the release. The victim's identity was not being released on Thursday.”

May have been fire related, maybe not. We have a few Lincoln county Missings. Jason earl case, Ben Wilberding, David Strahota and Robert Cartwright.

I imagine what they mean is that it's not yet known whether the deceased died of smoke inhalation or thermal injuries. Or, just possibly, a drug overdose before his home meth lab blew up or his chip pan caught fire.

Investigators in Lincoln County have released the name of a woman whose body was found inside a home following a house fire.

I think I've found the victim's FB but won't link because I am not 100% sure. The one I found states she was from Sedona AZ and a post she made January 1st contains a comment made two days ago from someone expressing disbelief that she is gone. IF it is hers I wonder how that friend found out 2 days ago she was deceased when the news of our victim's identity has only just been publicly released.

The cause of death for the 36-year-old is still under investigation, meaning it’s unclear if she died before the fire or because of the fire. The cause of the fire itself is also under investigation.
