Raleigh Woman Arrested Twice For DWI Within 4 Hours :doh:

RALEIGH, N.C. -- A Raleigh woman was arrested twice for drunken driving early Saturday morning.

April Hughes was first arrested at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Because she had no prior record, she was permitted to leave the detention facility.

But about four hours later, Hughes was arrested again and charged with a second DWI.

They need to change their detention time to 8 hours.

I thought they kept you until you were sober? Unless someone responsible was taking her home I wouldn't have left her go.
