Police were called to a 24 Hour Fitness center Tuesday morning after a guest said she saw a foot come through the ceiling of the ladies locker room.
The woman told police she was walking through the locker room when a human foot and leg clad in a hiking boot and dark pants broke through one of the ceiling tiles.
The woman ran out of the room, and fitness employees called the police, according to police reports. When officers arrived, the only evidence of the intruder was a hole in the ladies locker room ceiling.
We searched the building, said Karen Peterson, public information officer for the Friendswood Police Department. We couldnt figure out and the staff couldnt figure out how (the intruder) got up there.
Employees at the fitness center, which is at West Parkwood Avenue and South Friendswood Drive, would not comment on the incident.
