Woman swallowed sister-in-law's ear

An Indian woman has been accused of eating her sister in law's ear in a row over a debt.

Nitu Sav allegedly bit Rekha Devi's ear and swallowed it after a fight over cash her husband had borrowed.

Sav's failure to repay the £110 loan within the promised period had led to constant fights between the couple.

Devi's husband left her at Sav's home, at Hilsa, near Nalanda, and said she had to stay there until she recovered the money.

Matters reached a head when Rekha began to nag her brother Shankar for the immediate return of the money.
